Aurora Granato
Hi everybody! I’m Aurora, the first woman sitting in the board of ESN Roma LUISS. Born in Rome 23 years ago, I’m going to attend my fifth and last year of law studies at LUISS University.
Although I was born and grown up in Rome, I feel quite “terrona” because of my Sicilians roots.
Currently I’m the Treasurer of ESN Roma LUISS. I’ll draw up opening/closing balance, balance sheet/ final report about profit and loss, keeping accounts. In short, I’ll make sure all economic stuff will have a successful conclusion or I could decide to run away with the plunder!
The best way to experience another country, people around there and their culture is just merging with them, forgetting for a short time to be part of your own country-life. This is my aim. This why I’m in ESN.
As an exchange student I’ve been to Denmark, not Copenhagen but in Aarhus. I could find thousand of reasons about why is fundamental to go in Erasmus: experience a different educational environment, improve your language skills, gain a international perspective of your lifestyle. But my favourite one is the easier one: have the best time of your life!
I would like that, at the end of the academic semester or year, you will confirm what I’m writing here today.
