ESN Italy, as an Italian network of voluntary, non-partisan and non-confessional university associations, offering its services to foreign students guests at Italian universities and to Italian institutions interested in exchange programs, is a free, non-profit, apolitical, non-denominational association which pursues all the objectives expressed in the Statute and in the Directives of the International Network to which it belongs.
Therefore it aims to foster the mobility of university students in Europe:
- Welcoming and advising foreign students for a period of study at an Italian university (through a service that goes from housing research to tutoring and organizing cultural and recreational events that foster the integration of foreign students in the local university environment);
- Providing an updated information on European inter-university exchange programs;
- Developing a systematic evaluation of the same programs through the experience of the students who took part in it.
Currently, ESN Italy has 54 active sections. The active sections offer a regular opening time at the offices provided by the International Relations Offices or Offices of the University with which they collaborate. There is an ESN section for the University. The opening hours to the public vary according to local needs.
ESN Italy is the body that coordinates all the local sections located throughout the territory.
